Course Description:

Learn the correct terminology for the “bricks & sticks” parts of a house. Take a visual virtual tour through the construction of a house from lot grading to roof shingles. This three-hour PowerPoint course will illustrate and name the major structural and mechanical components of a house, what the components do, why they’re important and why inspectors report them if they are deficient. Students will leave the class with the knowledge to use correct terminology in their sales discussion with clients, and contract writing.
