Successfully and legally and ethically engaging the public through social media is one of the most powerful tools you can use to market your real estate business. The questions are what real estate platforms are available; are they effective, are they compliant with license law and how do they work? These platforms cover a variety of real estate specific needs such as agent-branded websites, IDX reciprocity, CRM systems, online rental applications, mobile apps, GPS-guided property searches, IVR systems, online listing presentations & property showings and so much more! This course examines the best strategies, tools and resources to start leveraging quality information to convey to prospects and clients to grow your real estate business.

Course Objectives:

Overall objective is to provide each real estate agent participant with the knowledge necessary to effectively and legally find and evaluate and utilize appropriate technology platforms to market and advertise their real estate business for productivity and to assist the public with their real estate needs.

At the end of the course, each participant will:

1. be able to understand why online marketing is so important;2. understand the different types of platforms / tools used to engage the public;3. understand license laws and REALTOR® ethics governing marketing & advertising and the importance of compliance to those laws & codes;4. gain a deeper understanding of CRM systems & agent-branded website marketing and how to create it to advertise and grow their business.5. Be able to evaluate the difference between IDX approved online property marketing vs. just advertising on social media6. describe the tools and resources needed to have a complete and impactful content marketing strategy;7. be able to explain the importance of using informative and engaging presentations of their buyer-side & seller-side services to market to their target markets;8. have a basic understanding of Federal & State & REALTOR® Fair Housing Laws.
